Proverbs 16:9 says… “A man’s heart plans his way, But the LORD directs his steps.” 

When I saw “A Charlie Brown Christmas” in 1965 I wanted to be a cartoonist. That was the way I wanted to go and God began directing my steps with Zack and Ganan.

When I saw “A Charlie Brown Christmas” in 1965 I wanted to be a cartoonist. That was the way I wanted to go and God began directing my steps with Zack and Ganan.  

When I was young, I hated bullies because I was bullied. I wanted to be either Daniel Boone or Batman.

Daniel Boone because he wasn’t scared of anything and would fight anyone, and Batman because he was a regular guy who made himself a superhero.
If they could be like that, then I could be like that too. That was my world. 

Now, as a Christian, I know that when God puts the Holy Spirit in us, we become superheroes in the spirit realm. I have also learned that the spirit behind all bullies is the devil and he has declared war on all Christians. Which just shows how dumb he is because Jesus has already beaten him. We need to learn to live in the victory, instead of being scared, weak victims of a bully in a war we don’t believe we can win.
I have learned more about the battle every day from a lot of smart people that God has put into my life. And I’m putting what I have learned into cartoons that will teach you more about the war you are in.

 

 

INSPIRATION

Honestly, these cartoons were originally meant for my grandkids. Kind of a roadmap to heaven. What not to do, what to do, and how to do it. But my wife told me that they were a gift from God and if I didn’t use it well I would have to answer to him for it. So I’m not going to settle for just my grandkids. I want to give every kid in the world, a road map to to the life God has for them and how to live it.

VISION

My big vision for Zack and Ganan is to see them in animated cartoons educating, encouraging and entertaining kids around the world. Inspiring them to learn all they can about God and to love Him with all of their hearts.
